I personally feel that dreams run their course, but when we try to change this we have to be carefull. |

I've noticed a pattern in my last couple of lucids. I've been trying to catch FAs by RCing when in bed, and in the most recent lucid dreams I've become lucid when I'm in a bed. But the problem is that when I become lucid, it's difficult to not think about my body being in a bed because I'm in the same setting in my dream. I end up being unable to look around or move my dream body, but in the last one I was trying to stabilize by saying commands and touching things. I couldn't look around and I felt what I was touching but couldn't see my hands moving. Eventually the dream faded because nothing was happening and I was back in bed. |

I think this is because of the same effect when I tell you to this; DO NOT THINK OF A PINK POLAR BEAR. You know what you shouldn't think about and therefore you consciously think about it in order to not think about it. So if you tell yourself not to think about your real body - you're actually thinking about it. So you need to find a way to engage yourself with the dream and -really- forget about it. |
