      Exclamation Lucid problem

I'm sure there are a million posts in this forum entitled 'lucid problem' but I've never come across the problem I am about to disscuss.
The problem is that in half of my lucids I cant hold the dream very well and I keep slipping into an almost thoughtless state. Im not sure how to fix this problem but it is very irritating as this typically happens in my more lucid dreams.
With my more vivid dreams It feels like I see through my eyes but in these crappy lucids it seems like more of a complex thought and it is difficult to hold.
I dont know exactly what the problem is and would appreciate if anyone could help me out .

You're having problems with stabilization. Make whenever you become lucid you stabilize, and if things start messing up, stabilize again. A lot of people tend to only stabilize once during a lucid. Another alternative is to just DEILD it if things just fall apart. It's more complicated, theres a chance of losing lucidity, but it does work. The bottom line though, is sometimes we all just have crap lucids no matter what we do.

He's right. There's also a Dream Stabilization Tutorial that you can read in the Wiki.

Thanks alot for the advise! I went to look at those tutorials on DEILDing and dream stabilization and they look like they will be very useful! Funny, I knew about DEILD before but I had kind of forgotten about it. Thanks alot!
