      Feeling of terror during WILD

Does anyone else feel a feeling of sheer terror after they enter SP? Its right after my body goes numb and my consciousness seems to expand.. I feel the feeling of horror and terror, as if my world is infinitely small, this is the one place I fuck up on..

Also, when trying to WILD, is it possible to WILD into a LD when first going to sleep at night?

After reading several posts on DV, I have come to the apparent conclusion that it is very difficult to LD when going to sleep at night. but yes, i do feel that terror as well, I guess you just need to control it =]

When Pikachu is in doubt he does a reality check.

Yeah it is usually difficult to WILD right at the beginning of the night because your first REM cycle isn't supposed to be for 3 hours and then every 90 minutes after. However, if you are sleep deprived that is a different story because this can sometimes lead to instant REM if you had not had many REM cycles in your last rest. I only actually did WILD successfully once and yes I usually have the sensation of fear/excitement that you are talking about that freaks me out and wakes me up before I even enter. I try to focus more on dream signs and DEILD's. I have 3 of those a week so there's no reason to keep waking up in the middle of the night for WILD for me....

So how do you WILD in the middle of the night? I usually wake up 4hr and 30mins after I fall asleep.. which means its after a REM cycle right? So theoretically if I tried to WILD at this time I wouldn't enter a dream because it's not a rem period?

As someone whom experiences SP every single night since around 2006, I can say that SP can indeed be terrifying. I have experienced anything from being on fire, being dragged out of bed and ripped apart, stabbed in the back, witnessing horrors crawling towards me, becoming a red blood cell drifting through a vain, being a fetus in a womb to being raped.

      Enjoy.

And yes, it is possible to WILD without sleeping beforehand, just difficult.

Ok, I've had LD's every single night for years too. But SP? Less than 15 or so times. How in the heck do you induce SP every single night?

I never force induce SP. It just happens. It's like some kind of curse/gift. It is not pleasant.

Same for me as it is for hyper nova...all that bad shit and more, I used to think I was going insane or something but found out it is SP and I agree it's a curse/gift lol you can learn to controll it though, just accept it and understand a little more about it, read up more about it and your subconscious will take in that it's nothing to be scared of and you are in controll of what happens. I now have less bouts of he bad stuff and smoothly transition....I do still get it bad from time to time but not as much as I did...accept it for what it is, learn not to fear it and you will go fourth. Fearing it will only make it more scary and send you into a loop of you get scared so your SP gets scarier which makes the hallucinations scarier making you even more scared which again makes it more scarier lol see what I mean!! Good luck
