Its been about exactly a week before I came fascinated with Lucid dreaming but how do I know I'm making progress? how long might it take for me to finally LD? I'm trying hard but I havn't succeeded but I wont give up either. |

Welcome~! Just don't give up is the big key. Signs of success or progress is first your dream recall. As your dream recall increases, you are more likely getting closer to lucidity. When it first happens it is incredible. i'm still working on having another but yes it is possible to have one whenever you want. |

Dreams are like stars...you may never touch them, but if you follow them they will lead you to your destiny.”
Depends how hard you work. If you do ADA for a week you'll probably have one but thats hard, if you have a lucid have a hot shower if you dont have a cold shower, you'll get them quick doing that since cold showers are a pain in the ass |

Spoiler for Secret to LDing:
whats ADA meen? |

All day awareness..like noting how things feel and smell and taste etc. also how it feels to walk on pavement and those kind of things. I don't do ADA but I'm sure someone here who knows more about it can elaborate on what I have said. Good sleeps my friend |

It seems to me LDs are like golfing. There are a few naturals out there but for most it is work and practice. I have been working for 7 months now on it. I was pretty lucky I think as I started out at one LD a week. Finally this week it jumped to 5 in 5 days. Everyone seems to be different as far as what works best. But keeping dream journals and doing frequent reality checks are the best way to start. When you first do reality checks it may seem a little hokey since you 'know' you are awake, until you actually have an LD and THINK you were awake and you discover you are actually dreaming. Then you will realize how important they are! So do your RCs expecting they might actually fail and you really may be dreaming, cause you just might be. |

I have been fascinated with lucid dreaming for over a year. I had one recently (had to come here to ask if it really was one) It was very brief. I recently watched Inception, so now I am trying to train my brain to ask myself how I got to where I am. I can't wait for another one. |
