It's been a while since I've been to this forum, but after a year of repeated failures I needed some time to blow off steam (By playing doom of course). Now I'm ready to give it another shot.


I actually came back to get a few answers and hopefully get back the motivation I've lost. One things for certain, and that is I need to fix my sleeping habits. I've never been the one to drop off like a brick when it comes to sleeping, I'll be up for hours. But once I'm out it'll take more than a push on the shoulder to wake me up.

I was just curious for community input in terms of sleeping pills. If I REALLY need to get sleep and don't have time to wait 'till 2AM to fall asleep I just take a Gravol around 9 PM and I'm out cold within the hour. I don't really feel this is appropriate nor healthy to do, but would it help with jumping right into REM sleep?

To get more specific with my sleep - I didn't realize until recently that I'd be seeing hypnotic imagery while I fall asleep. I was under the impression when you do a WILD you were supposed to see images forming in front of my eyes and not your third eye so to speak.

I like to let my imagination run wild and I can visualize pretty vividly as I'm going to sleep (you know, the kind where you're day dreaming and snap out of it and suddenly think: "was I always staring at this wall?"), but I've never been able to pull off SP (even when trying with afternoon napping). So maybe if someone can clarify with me what I am doing wrong. It'd be greatly appreciated.
