      Sleep Paralysis After A Dream?

      Has anyone had this?

I was in a dream, and I just started to notice things were getting a little off. I was looking at my boss and he was smiling at me. Then In my dream I started to shrink and feel as if I was tripping out on something. I awaken to find myself going into sleep paralysis.

I tried to make a dream out of it but nothing happened...

Can anyone relate to this? I thought sleep paralysis was suppose to happen before sleep? Seeing as I was dreaming already doesn't that mean sleep?

I had more than 50 sleep paralysises so far, 95% of those happened randomly after a i woke up

Seems like you just experienced the same If you happen to get this more, try finding an easy way for yourself to be able to get into a dream from there... it took me a while until i found it how it works best for me.

Also, as i noticed this is more likely for me when i wake up from a nightmare.
      I realize that i'm dreaming.
      I realize that i'm dreaming.

Very interesting. Thanks or the reply littlezoe!

I wasnt aware that you could be put into paralysis waking up from a dream, it was kinda cool.
My first lucid dream was a random SP but I woke up while I was falling asleep, not the other way around.

Now I just have to practice making dream scape appear while that's happening then I'll be set!!

Well, you get into SP just before you dream, and you stay in SP during the dream, untill the dream ends.

If you WILDing, you try to let your body fall asleep first, before your mind. Usually, mind falls asleep first and then body turns on SP before a dream.

If something startles you and your mind wakes up before your body had time to switch SP off, you will be aware of being in SP. As you mentioned, you can try a DEILD or break from it by changing your breathing pattern (this will let your mind know, that you not sleeping anymore and it will release the SP), or try wiggling your fingers and toes, untill you can move.

I have experienced SP only twice, and both times it was in the morning when my mind woke up before my body. Happy dreams
