I need some help,Ii suddenly can't remember ANY dreams.

Ok, so I've been practicing lucid dreaming for about 3-4 years. It's taken a lot of practice, but even if i can't get lucid i always had some interesting dreams to wake up with. Over the past week or two I've been completely unable to recall ANY dreams whatsoever. Does anybody know what could cause this? Any help would be appreciated

Did anything change in your life? Sleep schedule, stress, worries, drinking, drugs of any kind, new job? Have you tried making yourself wake up after REM to see if you can recall them at that time? To have a dry spell in recall I believe it's normal, since it fluctuates, but 2 weeks is unusual but possible. Hope it gets resolved, sounds like you love your dreams, as pretty much all of us here.

I haven't really changed my routines, the only other meds i've been taking are fish oil and a daily vitamin and i stopped taking those a week ago and still nothing. I can't even remember anything after i take a nap and go right into REM. I sense I've been dreaming but i can't recall a single detail. I found out i have a vitamin D deficiency but i haven't read anything that links that to dreams or any brain processes. I really miss my dreams, my life is pretty ho-hum and even if i can't get lucid my dreams are always exciting and interesting. I've also recently had problems with WILDs. I get to the point where my body falls asleep and i can start to get into a dream but i keep getting pushed out and wake up soon after my attempts.

Wow, I feel for you. Do you maybe have some worry that you don't acknowledge having but nevertheless it troubles you? I don't really know what can cause for your recall to drop like that. Do you have a DJ? You could check if this happended before. I'm sure it's just a fluke, there is nothing wrong with your memory and you will remember your dreams again.

I think maybe i'll try reading back through some of my old dream logs, perhaps that will spark something.

Well i SORTA remember two dreams from last night, but they were both really dumb. One was about getting junk mail and the other was something about werewolves? I don't remember much but at least i remembered SOMETHING.

Even dumb dreams are dreams. I personally appreciate all of my dreams, and even say thanks to my higher self for all of them. Looks like you are back in business

I have times like that and last night was one of them / (Google Mantra)
Here's how it went for my journal this morning.-12:00 to bed, 1:30 awake stay up till 2:30, Back until 3:30, 4:30 and 5:30 giving ten minutes to get back to sleep after a quick sip of water I had 4-50min sleeps. In the dream fragment I just awakened from I had been talking to the girl at the corner store about Mantra's so I tried the "Raom Gaom" mantra to travel backward in the tidbit I recalled of that dream and it quickly faded into what I would call the inner workings of a grasshopper slowly dimming to dust, I have been here before (in reverse) I have been torturing my soul trying to remember dreams that didnt happen.. I have been waking up before they start.
So much for the water drinking theory.

I have found intense tv drama before bed is not good. My mind replays that and dreaming is nil. Some is ok but dont get too 'into' the drama.
