      Not quite sure what happened

I was walking down a street in what I assumed was Dublin with a schoolbag. There were many people on the streets. For some reason I felt sketchy, I felt I was carrying something I shouldnt have been carrying. As I walked further down the road, I realised I was with a group of secondary school children. The urban streets of Dublin gave way to something that could only be described as a farm type place.

Suddenly, It occured to me that this could be a dream. I tried to put my hand through my hand and realised I could, I done something else as well, I think I might have breathed whilst covering my nose. I was now lucid (I think), although everything went blurry and I felt myself waking up. I did wake up, although it appeared I woke up in another dream.

I woke up in my bed, my arm was lying at a funny angle and was not easily moved,If I even moved it at all. I remember my mum coming in and telling me to get up and study for my exam, I told her I had my alarm set for 2pm (Which I did in real time), although this alarm was set for 06:16, If I recall Correctly (which I have just looked up, and apparently 616 was the original "number of the beast"). I cant really remember what happened next, I think I went back to sleep in the dream, and then woke up in real life.

What was this? Did I become lucid when I put my hand through my hand and everything went blurry? Or was it when I woke up? Or was it even SP? Or just a dream within a dream?

I am interested to hear what you guys think.

Yes, when you realized you dreaming you got lucid. Yeeey! Then you did some RCs and they confirmed. Then when you 'woke up' in another room, that's called a false awakening. It looks like your real life place so it's hard to recognize that it's still a dream. This is when practicing RC comes handy, as if you did an RC here, you would get lucid again (if you lost lucidity here). Happy dreams

Thanks for your responses guys! I think I may just start getting in to journaling my dreams, and furthering my lucid experiences.

Do you remember actually realizing you were in a dream? If so..you were lucid! Unfortunately, it didnt sound like a very vivid lucid but that will come with time. Like gab said, the dream where you "woke up" is called a false awakening and is common among dreamers.

Mancon is absolutely right. If you realize that you are dreaming then you are lucid otherwise not.
