      Time Perception in LD

Is it possible to slow down your perception of time in a lucid dream? Example: 30 minutes of real-time, seeming like several hours in a LD? Or even days?

I think you mean time dilation. I can't give you an answer on that. Some people think it's possible, some people at this forum claim that they've experienced it. I would like to believe it, but I would like to experiment with it myself.

Here's a thread where time dilation is discussed. Rather than rehashing everything the posters stated, read it and let us know what you thought of it. There are many interesting arguments made.

No not exactly. You can experience multiple days in one dream but the time spent in the dream is the same. It might feel a little longer in the dream but not to the point that hours feels like years.

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride

I agree with Dakotahnok. Caenis has shared a link, which clear all your doubts. Thanks for sharing it.

Sometimes when I recall a long dream, it seams like it was several hours long. This cannot be the case as the longest dreams only reach 45 minutes. I then look at what actually happened in the dream and realise that it could have happened very fast.
