      Journaling, mantras, and reality checks

When getting ready to sleep I say mantras, when I awake in the morning I journal all I can remember, in the shower I might remember more and later journal that down. throught out the day I do RCs and when I spot something unusual and when I do a RC I do 3 different ones to confirm I'm awake or dreaming as I question. Apart from journaling and mantras to increase recall and RCs to induce lucid, what else is their to do? Btw Ive had one lucid dream thanks to sleep paralysis and almost another but from the same source as the 1st.

You could get decent sleep. No better way to get lucids.

      Beyond that you're doing fine.

Sleep paralysis doesn't cause lucids. It occurs during REM sleep, to prevent you from acting out dreams. It's possible to wake during a REM dream and find yourself temporarily still affected by sleep paralysis, but if you do enter a lucid dream it will be from falling back into REM sleep or the lingering affects of REM causing a few dream-like images to linger.

I really did I got SP that I was I under my cover then got dragged almost off the bed I closed my eyes saw like this red morphing monkey face then had a false awakening that I was in my room and was lucid for a good bit feeling my surrounding, looking at my hands and body then walked all was groovy til I got attacked by a DC

It seems you're going for DILD's so try all day awareness. King Yoshi has a good tutorial on it. There are several variations of it too that I find are easier.
I was so much older then, I'm younger then that now.

I believe you meant to say you had a lucid dream, sighingplant, and not SP.

Puffin's Sporadic Awareness Technique is one. I can't really name others off the top of my head right now.

What I meant to say was I had a SP that turned to a FA where I went lucid
