      Guy I never met?

So I take a cab every morning to work. And every night I call to make my time call. Well over the last 8 months I've made 'friends' with the dispatcher, joe. Mind you, I've never even met him. The last 2 nights I've had dreams of him. We haven't said more than just hi and i tell him my time call. The dreams were him writing me notes. One even said he loved me. Lol but I'm wondering should I read into it more? Kinda freaky lol I read into my dreams a lot. I've dreamt I my aunt who passed in 2001 of cancer. Was a very vivid dream too.

Would LOVE anyone's opinion. thank you

It depends on your view of dreams. Lucid or not. Having been in/out of metaphysics since I was kid I heard a lot of theories on dreams. Some believe dreams are just subconscious mumble jumble. Others believe our unconscious dreams are our minds projecting on the mental or lower astral planes where there are both DC's and real sometimes forgotten interactions with crossed over people/guides. Some believe our dreams tell us hidden secrets (which personally Ive experience myself). I heard accounts of people claiming to cross over each other in lucid or non lucid dreams. Here is an example but I’m leaving out name of this person. I had this dream a few weeks back:

I had a dream I was watching an off-broadway play that this one actress did in her career. I knew about it from reading her autobiography. It was a non-lucid dream so I had no control over this dream. The main actress was in it, and seemed fine doing the scene I was watching, but by the end it seemed she was unhappy/discourage, and by the later act she had left the play. Gone from it the play went on with a new person and later the dream faded into something else. I thought about it after waking up and thought it was just my mind taking in the book before bed into a dream. In the book she mentions nothing about her feelings on the play except she did it in a full tour, completed it, had respect for the producer and remained friends, and moved on life more or less.

I eventually came across another source while trying to read up more on this actress. I found some information from outer source that stated toward the end of the play she had some problems with a new casting girl in the play, and it made the play difficult to work on because this girl was still somewhat inexperience and wouldn’t listen to anyone during rehearsals. Eventually this new cast member (female) was fired for various of reasons. The outer source author claimed anyhow…true or not I don’t know…that this actress whom starred in this play invested money into it, and never really got it back, and she did small few things but left the theater and stated that investing/joining this theater play was the worst thing she ever did. She was originally a cinema actress.

See my point? I think our dreams can and are at times the gateway to something. Our own mind telling us something, helping us, acting out a situation/aggression or giving us a sign to look at from a metaphysical standpoint that something higher can reach us through. Some in the New Age movement believe that our dreams is one way people whom have passed away can somehow reach us as sort of a middle ground. Maybe subconscious wise he or you are in lust for each other even just by the voice. You might not consciously know it yet. Maybe you're looking companship on a romantic level and this is your mind showing it (whether you are or not, or in a relationship now or not.) I don’t know. Just something to think about. I concluded the dreams we remember the most, and keep going over and over again in our minds after wake...and even days after...might have something very important it was trying to tell us.

I agree that it's totally possible for our dreams to tell us things we don't know yet, as the above poster said. However, I don't think you necessarily have to take everything in them as a sign of something deeper. If you talk to this guy every day, it doesn't seem unusual that he would appear in your dreams. My dreams very heavily feature the certain few people I speak to the most often. If they keep happening and you DO get the feeling there could be something else going on between you two or in your life that's causing dreams like that, it would be worth investigating it further. (Maybe you should be friends? ) But if you really don't at all, then you don't HAVE to read into it.
