The Extension of Memories

Brain is amazing
It stores everything and anything
Without one’s notice.

Like rummaging through photographs
I wonder if I could look through the old memories.

A happy giggle from a baby
A time when I got heart
A lonely memory
A memorable memory.

What is the very beginning of my memory?
What is the oldest, the start of my life?
When did my conscious, my memory start?
Cell division? Fetus?

If there is a former life, can I remember them?
When did my existence start?

I can barely remember five years ago.
But like a clear digital photograph,
Is it possible to recall ten years ago?

It's a question written as a poem. How far can you remember your memories?
Dream is from the unconscious part of the brain, so reasonable it should have all the
earliest memory of my life. I wondered how early these memories can be.

This is one of the ultimate questions. One day you realize, "Hey, I can remember only so far back... Is my memory the extent of my existence?"

Personally, I believe it is not.
