      How to lucid dream?!?!?!?!

okay. I have had dreams where i can control whats going on. but thoes only happen every once in a while.

But i think im a good candidate because every single night. and i mean EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. i have vivd as F**k dreams. Color, taste, smell, touch, feelings. only time i dont have a vivd dream is when im drunk. thats the only time i "dont dream" its just black. like i pass out, and wake up. thats it.

anywhooo. I would love to control what goes on. it would make me love sleep more!! I already love to sleep because of my dreams. i take naps because i love to dream.

Hello ohhitslauraa. The first thing I'd suggest is that you read this wonderful beginner's guide to LDing. Sounds like you have good dream recall already, but if you don't already remember at least one dream a night, focus on remembering more dreams first. Do you have a dream journal? Do you perform reality checks?

There are a lot of different ways to have lucid dreams, so read over the different guides in this site and see what would work best for you. However, if you've already had some control over your dreams, you might be able to have LDs easily with a few tweaks to your lifestyle/habits!

I'm curious, in the dreams you've had control, have you been aware that you were dreaming? Or did you just have a lot of control over yourself and your surroundings?

Check out some of the current courses in the DV Academy! There are instructors in each class, so if you want more guided advice from experienced LDers, join up one of the courses. Good luck!

I can remember dreams i had since i was like 4 or 5. grade school, middle school, and high school. I think its kinda remarkable because my boyfriend never has dreams, and he alwasy looks forward to me telling him my dreams before we go to work. and we discuss them alot. (even the dreams where he cheats on me, or i have sex with a celebrety or what have you lol)

Um the dreams that i could control have usually been sex dreams, or dreams when im flying. the flying dreams i can control on how high i float by how hard i think about it. and the sex dreams, i usually pick who i wanna have sex with, and what we do. and not nesessarly "sex" but i'll feel feelings of infatuation for these guys. and i dont normally pick the guy. but its always someone awesome and sexy. usually a celeb. infact the other night i had a dream about Channing Tatum (or however you spell his name) and we went on a date. and he was picking me up and hugging me. and then we had sex. lol and ik it sounds crazy (but im pretty sure i get off in my sleep) Ahhh I love thoes dreams =]

That's impressive, I can only remember a few vivid dreams from when I was a kid. But even so, it's good to keep a dream journal, just in case the details escape you over time. Keeping a dream journal can also help you identify dream signs, recurring elements in your dreams. If you realize what your dream signs are and try to be more aware around them (and RC too!) then it should help you realize you're dreaming.

That's good that you're so open with your boyfriend about your dreams. Dream sex can be a little awkward to discuss, especially if your boyfriend wasn't involved in the dream, but it's good that you two realize that dream sex doesn't mean too much. It's normal. Arousal at night is normal because of increased circulation (so says the Internet) in both men and women.

Read about lucid dreaming, try out the techniques you read here, and keep having fun with your dreams! Enjoying your dreams, whether they're lucid or not, is the most important part.
