I have had my vision blocked in the dream.

So last night, I was in a lucid dream. I went outside and just layed down on the concrete, admiring how real it felt were suddenly out of nowhere my vision started being blocked, like I was wearing a helmet like the one in this pic

I have tried "removing" the helmet out of my dream head, it works for a while but then it comes back. Any advice? anyone else have had something similar happen to them?

Just be creative with it! Believe you won't have your vision blocked. Have some confidence. After you take off the helmet, take a pill that absolutely prevents you from going blind again. Or cast a spell on the helmet that keeps it away from your head. You could also just ask a dream character to keep you from going blind. Good luck!!!

Ooooooooooh! I had something like that happen to me once! I got lucid, and it was the most vivid and realistic lucid dream to date. I was walking up a flight of stairs, just holding the railing and trying to stabilize by using my senses. Then suddenly there's like a net on my face. I have no idea where it came from, my vision was blocked, though only partially. I touched my face but there was nothing there. It was confusing because I knew there was a net-like thing covering my face.

I agree with what Mancon said, imagination and faith are very important! I just stood there for a while, thinking about what to do. I decided to close my dream eyes. (I rubbed my hands while doing so, because I was afraid I'd lose lucidity if I just closed my eyes.) I imagined sincerely that it will be gone when I open my eyes again. Luckily, it worked!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

I have problems with my sight in almost every lucid, it tells me the dream is unstable. Sometimes it is something on my eyes and I remove it and yesterday I also went blind and concentrating on my touch made it better (and in a different dreamscene :-) Closing and opening your eyes can result in opening your real eyes so be carefull with that!

HAH! Something similar happened to me..

Once i had a dream, where my DC took over my dream.. (it was the scariest experience in my life)..

-I was walking down the street, i randomly did a nose plug reality check, and realised i am dreaming.. So i decided not to do anything crazy, and just walk down the street and see where will the dream take me.. I observed everything around me .. The houses, trees, buildings.. I kept reminding myself i am dreaming, just in case i won't loose my awareness.. The colors were so bright, but THEN i stopped.. i could not MOVE.. even a little.. not even my head, i could only move my eyes a little..

-Suddenly everything went dark, the buildings turned grey, they were destroyed, the trees broken, i felt a chill, i knew i was lucid, but i felt something very very scary in my presence.. I tried and i tried to move and turn around, but i couldn't.

-A man popped infront of me.. It was an old man, with ragged clothes, he looked quite poor, with a grin on his face he said to me " This is my dream now, you can't control it anymore, you will never wake up ". I tried to force my self to wake up by shutting my eyes and blinking rapidly , IT DIDN'T WORK!

-So many thoughts going through my mind, will i stay here forever, is this the end, to never wake up and die in a dream, where no one could find out what really happened to you, the things were turning darker, i could see fire burning down the city, i felt so empty, useless, powerless..

-And then he laughed and said "Just kidding." Everything turned back to normal, it was day again, i got too scared to stay longer, so i forced myself to wake up ..

-sigh- .. Having vision blocked is nothing :\ .. Scariest experience in my life.

The best thing i found was to say "clarity" and snap my finger beleiving that when my fingers clicked my vision would come back.

Just remember that the dream characters are simply a part of your sub-concious. No-one can control your lucid world but yourself, (or in this case, your inner-self?)
Goodnight and good luck. On and onwards, dreamers!

In my dream, when i looked in the mirror, i was wearing a batman mask so i couldn't see any part of my face except for my eyes. If i wasn't wearing the mask, i would have probably noticed something was wrong with my face and did a reality check. Im getting so close to lucid dreaming now!!
