not becoming lucid in really strange dreams

so last night i had this really weird dream that me and a few friends were going simming but the weird thing is we were going swimming... in a bathtub -_- when i woke up in the morning i recorded all of the dreams i could remember and when i got to that one, i wondered how the heck did i not get lucid? im wondering if it may have something to do with not enough ADA? ive been practicing it for about 4 days or so and it has helped me with past LDs... anyway i dont know it just confused me how i wouldnt become lucid in a dream that makes no sense....
