People have suggested a number of things:

Shouting "Clarity now!" works for some.

Putting on glasses or flipping a lightswitch works for others.

Another option is using the All Day Awareness technique posted by King Yoshi: http://www.dreamviews.com/f49/all-da...gyoshi-113253/

I read some others but I can't recall them right now. I will look and post any I can find.

Thanks,it's weird you say flipping the light switch cause in the non vivid lucid dream i had today i looked at a light switch for the fist time ever in my dream and wanted to turn it on but i thought it would wake me up,I'll try that tonight

Vividness of a dream tends to come a lot from what you are concentrating on as well. It seems you're concentrating too much on your physical body in your bed. You need to fully immerse yourself in the dream, feel things, stuff like that, so as to draw your focus away from your physical body.

I read a method one time that suggested saying "clearer!" out loud, a few times if need be. I've tried it a couple of times. Once it worked very well, but another time I found that I was unable to speak so it didn't work. -__- Lol.
