You and I are the same. You can try to use a night mask (I'm having a blackout and can't remember the name lmao) because the little pressure on your eyelids usually keep them shut. Sometimes you just have to get really tired. I haven't tried meditating for this problem but it might work. Oh and I sometimes lie on my side (you might want to be on your back to get into SP faster) and have one of my eyes on my pillow to keep it shut and usually the other stays shut too.
