Good post. There was a thread a few days ago about this issue and i said pretty much what yo described. Though i have to disagree a little when you say "When you are awake you know your not dreaming". If i have a chain of false awakenings, when i truly wake up i really don't know if I'm dreaming or not xD |

So newbies know
I noticed this wasn't mentioned anywhere and felt it important for newbies to know. It mentions that in your dreams you have to do RC checks to check if your dreaming. Anyone whos afraid that they might not be able to tell reality from dreams this is not possible while your awake or at least you would be mentally unwell to have that problem. When you are awake you know your not dreaming you just know. When your dreaming you question if your dreaming something that you wouldn't do in real life also an indicator your not dreaming. Though a difficult one at that.

maybe just me then lol i always have false awakenings. im sure this doubt only lasts a few second with the bridge to the dream world being open
