      Need some help with FILD

      Hey guys!
      I was reading up some more about the FILD technique, and they were saying that it's easiest if you can wake up without an alarm so that you don't move, you simply wake up and go straight back to sleep while applying the technique. The problem that I run into is that I can't wake up without my alarm and auto-suggestion doesn't seem to work for me. also, drinking water before going to bed won't do much for me because I'll just have to get up and take a piss. I'd greatly appreciate any sort of suggestions.

      Here's a suggestion: Every time you wake up from now on, just notice yourself waking up. Once you start to become aware of when you're waking up, try not to move (including your eyes, which can be quite difficult). Once you nail this, you should be in a pretty good position since you actually wake up multiple times during the night, only you're not normally aware of it.

      How long have you tried auto-suggestion for? it normally takes sticking with it for a week or two before seeing some results. It also depends on how willfully you are saying it. If you are just saying it to say it without any hope it will actually work, it will not work.
