Sorry squiddy. I just almost did a wild though! And also, I'm talking about nightmares where the fear instantly wakes me up. Does that go away? Because I hope so. I rarely have one. I'd thought that I would be able to NOT wake myself up since I heard about lucid dreaming.

If you have a problem with waking up from nightmares and want to use that as an opportunity for lucid dreaming, you can try getting in the habit of making reality checks WHEN you feel fear (any kind of fear, like fear of getting a bad mark in a test). Also, if you realize that you are, in fact, dreaming, try focusing on your environment and on your senses. I don't know how much how you understand from what I said, I know how it is to be a newbie, I'm not a 'pro' either As squiddly said you can also try to spin, but that means you have some amount of control, which you may not have, especially in a nightmare.
