Thread: I think I Lucid Dreamed!

I've always been interested in Lucid Dreaming and I recently started a dream journal. Unfortunately I recently lost my Nan to cancer and am suffering heavily from Anxiety and such. Last night I was dreaming normally when suddenly I realized my Nan was talking to me.


I thought to myself: Wait a minute, my Nan died! This can't be real.

Suddenly I felt a little lucid. I began to panic and thought I'd died and somehow I couldn't return to my body. I shoved off that thought and calmly said "I'm dreaming!" and to test this hypothesis I looked up at the sky and tried extremely hard to turn it into night. After a strained effort a part of the sky turned black and then so did the rest of the sky.

Unfortunately I let my fear get the best of me and the street I was in was cast into darkness and I was launched into a bunch of tiny hooded with white faces that sprung up from the ground. I once again shrugged off the fear and the sky returned to white. I walked up the street only to view almost an entire city and a bunch of mountains ahead. Thinking to myself "My mind is actually creating an entire city." I was amazed by the power of my mind.

I somehow knew I was going to wake up and when I did my entire body was tingling. For a brief second I didn't think I could move and then I rolled over; my body still lightly tingling.

I felt Lucid but the dream also felt quite hazy at times. It was like I was half lucid because I remember feeling quite confused at what was happening around me.

Did I lucid dream?
