Dreaming about being a ghost?

This dream is the weirdest and eeriest I have ever experienced. I started off by woking up from my bed. Yes. I told my self "I'm just dreaming" in my dream, I immeadietly (or however you spell it) started to lucid dream, Of course. But here is the weird thing. I can walk through walls. I was going to warn my mom about this, I walked through 2 doors to go to her room. I shouted at her "MOM!!" She didn't hear anything and just slept. Why is this weird? You think this is a normal dream? I don't think so. My mom was sleeping on her chest. Next morning, I asked her "What position were you sleeping tonight?" She said "On her chest". She didn't see me walking to her at all. It's like I was an actual ghost. Does this mean I'm gonna die soon? I'm afraid and am currently shivering.

Oh boy! Let me quickly ease your fear. You are not gonna die soon. What you experienced was a very normal either lucid dream (LD) or out of body experience (OBE). I have got up from my bed just like you did many times in my LDs and a few times in my OBE. I was never lucky enough to see the real world around me as you saw your mom. Either it was a lucid dream and you know your mom sleep on her stomach, so that's what dream showed you. Or, you really had an OBE and saw your mom as she really was at that moment. Either way, it was super cool. But if it was OBE, it was little more cool, because many can lucid dream, but not so many can OBE. So congratulations! Please, do ask any question you may have. Don't worry you won't die soon. Your just dreaming and it was a coincidence that your mom was on her stomach in reality and your dream. nothing to weird I don't think. But I agree with gab that it may have been either an OBE or an LD. But you won't die so don't sweat it. ~pruzel
