Hypnagogia or Occular Migraines?

About 6 months ago I started to notice hypnagogic images (thought I was going crazy) and eventually had a lucid dream (felt even more crazy). I never knew about lucid dreaming prior to that. The hynagogic images I see before bed are shadow like shapes that look like trees, or rooms, and sometimes my whole "vision" of these sights is coloured either with shades of red, blue, white, or just normal for what you expect to see with your eyes closed. The colours I see are the "background colour" and I will see lights or shapes moving around. I see shades of red or other colours whenever I close my eyes now at any time. If I'm taking a bath I will usually see a nice purple colour. The colours will change sometimes into other colours or normal. For the last few months almost every day for 10 to 20 minutes before bed I have been meditating. The meditation is merely calming my mind and viewing the images, sometimes I practice visualization. Just recently though for the last two days I see white lights in my peripheral vision and it stays there no matter where I move my head although the shape of it glows and fluctuates somewhat. Two days ago it was two lights (one at each side of my head), and last night it was one white light. This has only happened at night before bed while I'm meditating. Has this ever happened to any of you?

I've had optical migranes before, if that's what you were having you would know it - they suck
