Do it every time you remember. Don't beat yourself up if you forget. The idea is to improve your awareness. It sounds like it is working. I bet you never thought about how many doors you walked through, before... |

If I do a reality check every time I walk through a door. How often do I need to be doing these? I mean I'm walking through a lot of doors. |

Try what I am doing. It may sound weird but it was the only way for me to remember. Tie a short rope around your hand and wherever you sit, find somewhere to tie it on. When you stand up, the rope will stop you and you will remember about the reality check. This helps if you do a reality check everytime you stand up and pass from a door, because when you stand up you are most likely to pass from doors, and it's a cool reminder. This gave me a lot of DILDs |

It's not how often you do them, but that you remember to do them at all. The important thing is to get it into a habit. But that's not enough you need to do them properly, because it should be a habit of careful exploration. Imagine that you are actually dreaming when you are doing them, how would you think of yourself and the dreamsituation if you were in fact dreaming? For example one might think like this: |
