I find that dreams (both lucid and non lucid) can affect my outlook on life for up to several days. I usually feel kind of tired after a lucid dream, but it's a good feeling nonetheless. The downside is that I get some incredibly vivid (but non lucid) dreams which are bad - I've spent what seem like whole days at work mulling over stressful problems only to wake up and actually go there for real, now that is horrible.
