      My first Lucid dream!

Okay guys, SO finally one month off Lucid training has payed off!
Today I've had my very first Lucid Dream

So yesterday I've had this dream where I was in school, I've was in the middle my music lesson as I've realized something, it is supposed to be saturday and schools are closed on the weekends. I've tried to think back to see if I've rememberd anything from the weekend but I've did not remember a single thing about it. So I've came up with a simple conclusion "I'M DREAMING!!!" I've yelled to myself in the dream. Just as I've yelled that sentence the whole landscape turned into an white empty vacuum and I've felt that something was trying to push me out of the dream. The Lucid dream lasted only for roughly 10 secounds then I woke up.

Okay so my question is, do you guys have any good tips to stabilize a Lucid dream?

      Congratulations on your first lucid!

This time you probably woke up because of the excitement. Try to keep calm next time (easier said than done, I know). What you can do to stabilize is to engage your senses inside a dream. Keep walking and stomp your feet, clap your hands and listen to the saound, look at your hands or nearby wall or ground and notice details. Look around and notice details. Smell the air, eat something. Become part of the dream, instead of just an observer.
Stabilization tutorial - you can find many more in DV Wiki and in forums

But the best thing you can do is have more awareness. You can achieve that by practicing daytime awareness technique.

      SAT -sporadic awareness technique
      WILD (Sageous)
      Dream Yoga (Sivason)

      Happy dreams

As gab said in the beggining you will wake up of excitement, but read about the Dream Exit (DEILD) technique and it doesn't really matter anymore that you wake up because if you lay still and have closed eyes upon awakening you can actually return to the dream. That's how I deal with those awakenings, because even though I might not get as xcited anymore I can still get shocked. ^-^

For stabilization in general I usually scream "I am dreaming!" just like you did but then I try to use all my senses and really get as much information about the dream that I can and get more aware of the surroundings.

      Sweet dreams! Sov sött xD

      Tack!

Thanks for the tips guys. I will have one week break from the school next week so I will spend as much of that time as possible to learn more about Lucid dreaming (DEILD WILD etc) and hopefully have another Lucid dream
