      Mundane Dream Experiences

Hey,I have just started to learn Lucid Dreaming,it's been 3 days, writing dreams in my dream journal, have written 4 so far,but the thing is they have been so boring and fuzzy.I mean all of them,I spend most of the time in the school I have already passed and the college which I am studying now. There are always exams that are taking place in my dreams and am never prepared for them and am surrounded by random people who don't belong there. The point is their is nothing interesting about my dreams so far.I am beginning to wonder is it even worth to learn lucid dreaming for these mundane experiences.I feel bored writing about these experiences.

A lot of my dreams are like this too. I've found that as my recall improves I remember more interesting ones, or interesting details. When lucid we should be able to shake things up and make them more interesting, but I agree it can be a bit disappointing to think that this is how our dreaming minds choose to spend their time! Maybe some day in the future we'll understand why...

I mean it's so frustrating I spend about 1-2 hours of my time remembering and writing these boring dreams, when I can be doing much more interesting things,is it really worth persevering??
      Want some inspiration people.

My dreams are mostly boring... But believe me lucid dreams are amazing, so in short just write down your dreams the. Best things are to come

I myself am in a "dry spell of interesting non-lucids" now.
Like you for days on end I kept dreaming about work, and even had a dream about sitting at a desk (seriously, just staring at my screen sitting there for minutes)

I find that these occur when you get stuck into a routine during waking life. So when I started to pick up a new video game or read a book soon enough my mind was filled with new visuals to make dreams out of.
Also I have this new idea I'm trying out, I call it Reverse Dream Journaling. Basically I make dreams up and write them down as I would a real dream. I'm hoping these will get plant in my subconsious.
