The insight is appreciated, though could you suggest a solution?

It's my understanding that attempting a WILD before prior sleep is extremely difficult, so it is a bit annoying to experience this when I need to sleep. Doing the reality-checks might help, but most of the time I don't even get that far. The hallucinations(If I may call them that) are extremely elaborate, and more often than not terrifying. I feel that my subconscious draws from my paranoia in order to create a believable scenario and manages to appear extremely frightening. Being pushed/pulled towards the end of the bed, for example is one of the things that I just cannot stand. I noticed in my first WILD experiences as well, that I could suffer through ringing noises, feeling like falling ecetra, but certain things just freak me out.
