      Sensations when leaving an LD

After having had my second in a relatively short period of time I've kind of noticed some consistent patterns that tell me how "connected" I am to my dream.

When my dream starts to destabilize, first I kind of notice a tingling sensation throughout my entire body, the kind of feeling you get when you pinch a nerve. If I don't do anything about it, I start to feel "floaty" and become aware of my physical body, but I'm still in enough control to do the usual techniques to stabilize the dream. But if I "gracefully" leave the dream (presumably at the end of the REM cycle), I get none of that, it's almost as if someone just hit the pause button, the dream image is still clear, but I instantly realize I'm in my bed lying down, and I can't get back into the dream.

What kinds of feelings do you guys get when you start to lose the handle on your dream?

I usually encounter fuzzyness or fading of colour in mine. usually the sound gets muffled also.

Sometimes the dream just blurs out to blackness, and if I focus on the last scene of the dream I can bring my self back into the dream.

Other times the dream just pops like a bubble and I lay there in my bed awake.

Usually I can feel a pulling sensation. Like some force is literally pulling me out of the dream. Focus on dream stabilization (rub your hands, spin around) to try to stay in the dream! Good luck

Not everyone gets these sensations, I personally do not. But for me, any new sensation is fun.
