      Your lucid routine?

      Hey everyone!
When I say lucid routine what I mean is what tools do you use to get lucid dreams? For example for me I'm going to start doing this from Monday:
      - Reality Check everyday of the week,
      - Take 50mg of B6 mon- fri and 100mg on Sunday,
      - Try to WILD on Sunday morning,
      - Listen to a lucid dreaming subliminal MP3 at least twice a week,
      - Read DJ entries of last week on Monday evening,

This is what I personally feel I need to do to advance in lucid dreaming, and defiantly don't quite. I would like to know what your routine is guys. Just to get a Comparison. It would be great if you could post how much LD's you get a month also.
      Happy LDing!

Thats quite a devoted routing you got there great to see.
My routing generally goes like this
monday, wednesday and friday I do DILD
Tuesday, Thursday, saturday and sunday I WILD
I practise DEILD whenever I have a dream hrough deild chaining.

In the end sticking to your routine is what really important. It's better to keep going with only 2 attempts a week than 5 attempts every two weeks. Keep the routing going and don't lose fate.

It will be interesting to see other peoples routines.

      Here is mine :

Bedtime: I set my Iphone to start the timer 6 hours and 30 minutes. I then stretch my Jaw and my Shoulders <-- (The spots of most tension in your body)
then I meditate until I fall asleep.

Night: I might get some short lucid dream or moments of awareness here and there, if my mind is calm and my dreams is calm and if I do I usually wait to wake up so I can chain it and make it even more stable and vivid, and I don't write down these dreams (or other vivid dreams) becaue they are simple "warm-up".

Timer: When my alarm wakes me up I just fall asleep over and over until I either realize that I wake up in the dream, or I have a really vivid dream.

Morning: I write down notes of the dream on a paper and then I go to my computer log on to Dreamviews and write the dreams down and answer some threads if I have the time.

Day: Think about my lucid dreaming practise and try to find things that I need to work on. And of course I try to answer members questions, which makes me learn both from the and to become more aware of my own practise.

Evening: Take Omega 3 Pills for my muscle recovery after my workout. I take these pills primarily for the recovery, but since it is one of the lucid dreaming aids I added this here as well.

I don't really count my lucid dreams, partly because of the fact that it's hard to define what should count as a lucid dream (short moments of awareness or minutes of perfect stability etc.) but also because it, atleast for me, creates the illusion that lucidity is something hard to achieve. So in my case it creates a subconscious belief of a challenge.

But each week or, each night even, I experience a few moments of awareness and lucidity. But really long stable controlable lucid dreams might happen perhaps every other week. So about 2 long lucid (enjoyable) dreams each month, but a bunch of moments of awareness each week.
So right now it's all about control and learning to navigate my will in the unstable and random logic of dreams.

It should be mentioned though that your rate of success is not mostly dependent on what you do, but more on why you do it.
If you do something by having fun, it will be easier in my opinion. So don't forget to think about the motivation behind your actions.

      Sweet dreams.

      Thanks for those routines guys,
@MasterMind your routine sounds incredibly devoted, do you do that everyday?
@DutchRaptor I agree it's sticking to your routine that matters. I have re-started twice and looking back on it I regret it deeply. That's why this new routine I'm starting Monday I'm going to stick with for a very, very long time. But don't get me wrong I believe everyone should review there routine every month or so to make it more effective (I think masterMind mentioned this).
      Keep the routines coming people!

Devoted? Yeah perhaps but I gain so much from it and when you get into a routine it really flows on it's own.

And not to forget, I enjoy doing it so the method have a special value in itself.

      Sleep eight hours a night

Wake up after every REM cycle, instead of DJing I have been just waking up and trying to DEILD. After a minute I give it up and SSILD

After 6 hours I WBTB and try to WILD during. Normally leads to a DILD

I haven't been DJing. I have been telling all my dreams to my wife in the morning. The amount per night is still going up.

If I do this every night I can LD every night, but I get things like insomnia or late activities. If I haven't been getting sleep the previous days all my dreams are blurry and I can barely LD.

Yo, my usual lucid routine follows:
      - Wake up, gather dream recall, do reality check.
      - Write DJ entry.
      - Do WBTB/WILD nap, reality check after.
      - Do one or two more WILD naps during the day, reality check after each.
      - Read some random DV DJ entries and/or watch something lucid inspiring before going to sleep.
      - Recall what happened during the whole day (i did read somewhere that it helps to increase dream recall).
      - Think about lucid dreaming while falling asleep.
So far having some success with it.

Ish... I have to pretty much keep 8 hours every night. Yesterday I had 5 hours and last night I had eight. Because the previous day was not 8 I didn't LD. Even hanging with the married people I normally hang with, they all still hang out late since none have kids yet. That is why I only have 12 for this year, I keep losing nights sleep. I also have insomnia if I sleep 8 hours a night for too many nights in a row.

I like to think that I know one way that I can LD at will, but it is a difficult thing to sleep that much. I am looking for something that is unique to my dreams so that I can use that to lucid. The best time to look for that is in dreams though so I keep this schedule till then.

If I don't get my eight hours I barely get any lucids at all either, it's annoying when you only get like 6 hours and you wake up groggy and without any lucids.
