Would this be considered a false awakening?

When I fell asleep I was listening to music. I then had a dream that I was at school and I was reading a book on my phone but i was listening to music while i was reading. Class ended and I tried to turn it off but it didn't work. Then I woke up and tried to turn it off but it still didnt work. Then I woke up AGAIN and then when i tried to turn off the music it worked. Would this be considered a false awakening or just a regular dream?

Yep - if you dream of waking up and actually believe you're awake (but you're not) then it's FA.

FA is a name for normal, regular dream, in which you happen to dream about specific thing - waking up and going about your business, as if you were awake. Only you are not.

If you notice these FAs happening to you, start to RC each time when getting up from bed. That way you start to RC in your dreams as well and you can turn FA into lucid dream.

Yup, that's an false awakening, they can be easily turned into lucid dreams so as gab said reality check when getting out of the bed is a good idea if you experience FAs.
