Is there much of a point to attempt to induce LDs before my dream recollection is any good? As it stands my recall isn't very strong right now, and I'm focusing on fixing that. |

There's nothing wrong with starting to get into the routines right away in my opinion. The earlier you start and the more commited you are, the faster it could go! |

Yes, it's good to develop good routines and habits as early as possible. You see, motivation can be a fickle thing. When we are motivated, it seems like we can do anything. But motivation eventually waxes and wanes in cycles. On the other hand, habits remain strong for a long time. Once you establish a habit, it takes less effort or motivation to maintain it. This is all about how our brains work. So, while your motivation is strong, strive to develop good habits like RCs, WBTB, mantras, goal-setting, or whatever techniques that interest you. You results may vary in the short term, but the habits will persist and yield results for a long time. |

Feel free to start practicing lucid dreams before any good dream recall, they are generally easier to remember and might as well boost your dream recall anyways. |
