Have you ever been relieved when a reality check confirmed wakefulness?

Here is my example of that from today:

I got an email stating that the Office of Personel Management has declared all federal agencies closed in the Washington DC area. Yay, I don't have to go to work today!!!

A few minutes later, I think: Wait a moment, I was so hoping this would happen when I heard the weather forecast of snow. What if my mind has conjured this up in a wish-fulfilling dream? I do a reality check. No, seems to be real.

Yay, I don't have to go to work today!!!

Even though being lucid would have been really nice, but this is the one time when I am glad a reality check confirmed wakefulness.

my version : "OMG?? TEST? NOW?? (did a reality check) SHlT.........."

I indeed was happy once or twice to be awake. Mostly at night, when half way to the bathroom I get this creepy feeling that I'm dreaming and expect something to jump out at me. Yup, pretty happy.

Slightly happens if i forget to do reality check after getting from the bed and remember to do it only after writing DJ entry.

Lol! Yeah, one night I had several FA. I was reliving a memory, then woke up from the memory in my childhood home but as a kid. I freaked out, then my mom appeared chasing me down the street, grabbing my arm, screaming that she'll never letting me escape, woke up in my old kid bed as an adult, silence, no one around, then woke up again IRL, I was so relieved to do a reality check and find out I was dreaming.
