This just reminded me of "magic" in my non-lucid. |

Last night I was dreaming I was at a party and ready to leave. I went to find my sneakers...all the shoes were in a pile. I dug through them and thought I found them (they are silver and black). But when I pulled them out of the pile they were white and orange. I thought that was weird...how could I have been that far wrong? So I put them back down in the pile, and while I was watching them, they changed before my eyes into my shoes. Now I have done some pretty amazing things in an LD. But maybe because I wasnt lucid at the time it absolutely blew my mind. I turned to someone and said to them I was worried I had some strange psycholgical problem, because I knew I was seeing something that just isn't possible. Fortunately, it then occurred to me that I must be dreaming, so I did an RC and became lucid. But let me tell you, experiencing the 'impossible' like that...not realizing it was a dream...what I thought was pure magic...will long be remembered. |

I have all kinds of strange things happen in non-lucid dreams. I usually chalk it up to some strange force of nature I was previously unaware of. The other night, I could jump over 30 feet high, and it didn't even seem to phase me. I just did it. Mind you, I told myself before I fell asleep that I could fly in my dreams, and I had the Superman soundtrack playing. Then late in the night, the Superman soundtrack started playing again, and that's likely what got me to jump so high. |

An interesting point, and I agree. Once there was an evil wizard who was oppressing the whole wizard school and ruling us with fear and superior powers. Somehow I knew I could take him, and I did. I even shoved something up his ass as a final insult. Later I became lucid but really, the non lucid part was the best. But I dont knock becoming lucid because I then usually seem to 'remember' the earlier non lucid parts as clear, real memories and not fuzzy dream segments. |

Most, if not all of my non-lucids have some strange/bizarre stuff happening in them, and my dream self finds it completely normal most of time, i really need to work on my awareness. |

Unfortunately this is true for most of us. It takes real effort to overcome the acceptance of the unbelieveable. |

It's awesome isn't it. That feeling will come even after hundreds of lucids, I am still amazed at the beauty of some things in my dreams. |
