Well, even if you not trying to lucid dream, sometimes perhaps you are still aware when your dreams start and those are the sounds you heard - the talking and music. And the scream is the same thing. You already entering dream. This is normal for those who try to keep their minds aware when trying to have a lucid dream.
If this happened just one time, I' wouldn't worry, just try and fall asleep normally.
Yes, just trying to sleep and it was weird, I have had lucid dreams before, but not one where I felt a transition into the dream. It was like that scream just triggered me to snap out of the half dream state.

Nope not at all, It was like I knew stuff was going on a sounds were being heard but I wasn't fully conscious of the dream or real life, like a 50/50 sort of thing. The weird part is that snapped right into real-life consciousness right after the scream, like it triggered something, maybe fear?
