      Can they inspire?

I am an EDM/electro/house music producer but i have no inspiration. Can lucids help me be inspired? How about coming up with a part of the song in the dream and bringing it out? Is this a plausible or outlandish hope?

Well, many people do find inspiration in their dreams, and many in their lucids, at least I have. But no one can tell you what you're going to find in your dreams: they are a product of yourself, but maybe you'll need to do some work in order to achieve that inspiration It's for sure possible, you just need to open your mind, which is way easier in dreams with our logic parts turned off ^^

I havent had lucids since before i started producing, but i really think ive found a good goal that will motivate me (to find inspiration for music). I remember one DIELD that just blew my mind. The scenery and whatnot. It was incredible and i never had a lucid after that. That was the most inspiring thing ever (but not in a musical sense) and i was on a natural high for days.

But remember to remember the music you hear! I had a lucid where a beautiful melody was being overlayed (as if it were the music accompanying the end credits of a gardening tv-programme). When I awoke, every trace of the melody was gone.

Yes they can. It takes a lot of time and effort to bend them to your will, but they are inspirations for everything! I think just grabbing an ipodbor playing a record in your dream would be able to give you some idea of how much your mind can put together. I have listened to and even played music in my dreams and I know nothing about music. I imagine for someone involved with music you could "see' the music and bend it till you know exactly what you would need to do when you awake.

Yeah! They do that! I would recommend checking out:
      http://www.dreamviews.com/attaining-...technique.html

It is simple easy and effective! It takes a different amount of time for everyone to LD, but anyone can do it! Before starting I would recommend counting the cost of LDing. It takes a little time out of each day (30 minutesish for DJ and some time before bed) and consistent sleep schedule (about the same 8 hours every night) for best results.

Dreams indeed can be very inspiring, lucid or not. Even before i got into lucid dreaming, some dreams inspired me to make certain creations. Being lucid will make them even more inspiring though, considering you will be consciously there and fully feel / interact with inspiration source.
Also while on it, i suggest you to check out this thread: http://www.dreamviews.com/dild-gab/1...ods-dilds.html , for some useful information including awareness techniques.
And if you want to continue with DEILDs, check out this tutorial too: http://www.dreamviews.com/induction-...me-ld-god.html
