      Revisiting dream landscapes

Hey all. I was just wandering whether any lucid dreamers here have built any kind of landscape in a lucid dream that they have then revisited in another lucid dream later? For instance a house you built, or a city even. Was it easy enough to do? what was the scale of what you built? How long was it before you returned there? do you go there often? Did it change much from when you made it to when you revisited it?

This is also something I'm interested in. Dreams tend to morph a lot so I wonder if anybody has been able to keep their location/city stable.

Hello, have you checked out this thread? http://www.dreamviews.com/dream-cont...ream-base.html

I personally have created a little cabin by the woods setting which I often went to. I stopped doing it though, and pretty much forgot and now I don't dream about it as much anymore. It would be an awesome idea though to draw maps of your dream world. Kind of like creating your own customized world cheers!

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

Yeah that's a great idea. Very ambitious though. One for the pro's, i think.

      Cheers for the link

Indeed. Very cool. Have you heard of the Dream World Academy? It's centered on the same idea and is available to all dreamers to partake in. Dream World Academy

It's not exactly the shared dreaming thing, if you don't really believe in that. It's basically a place which members can contribute to and influence the layout of, based on their own individual, personal experiences located there.

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.

That's interesting. worth looking into in the future. I quite like the idea of building something of my own, independently to begin with, though.

Haven't experienced it yet, but it's definitely something to do in future once i get better at it. One of my long term goals is in fact, visiting world in dream that stays persistent each time.
I agree on checking out DWA as well, we really need more people contributing to it.
Also check out this thread, which is an experiment to create consistent world through dream incubation: http://www.dreamviews.com/research/1...eam-world.html

I think that is exactly what you are looking for. When I started LDing I had an idea of what lucid dreams would be like, it limited me and I was about to quit. When I found hyu it renewed my spirits and made me push harder. I don't want exactly what he has, I feel like I can make it something way more fun for me on a personal level. I am extremely excited about my future adventures. Remember that things like this take time though. Hyu recommends being able to get 3 LDs a week so that you can go there 3 nights in a week to solidify the place. I don't remember goals in my lucids very well, so I have yet to accomplish this. Being able to remember goals is my top summer priority.

Good luck LDing. I hope hyu is as encouraging to you as it is to me.

Cabins are too scary. I think a few movies might have scarred me.
