So I was thinking about a pseudo (if that's the right word) lucid dream I had a couple weeks ago, in which I started out in a regular non-lucid and actually went to go try WILD'ing within the dream, which I had very quick success with. It was a weird experience because I experienced an LD and a weird sense of another consciousness (maybe the actual dream) at the same time. Before I woke up in reality, I woke up in the dream, still not knowing I was in a dream, and was excited to tell everybody in the dream world. When I WILD'ed within the dream it felt just as fascinating and strange as when I do it directly from my normal waking life...

So I saw that movie Inception again recently and I was thinking about this dream, and the whole concept of a dream within a dream. In the film, the concept was that the deeper you go in inducing dreams within dreams, the more time seems to dilate. Considering dreaming within a dream is in fact possible, it really doesn't seem too far-fetched to say that this idea of perceiving time in a very different manner can be possible. Looking back on this dream that I WILD'ed within, it did feel REEAALLY long!! So I was thinking it would be a very insightful experiment to try to WILD once in a lucid dream (this is very easy to do in your already-established dream state), and keep trying to layer WILD's on top of each other and see if time seems to multiply for a really long, epic lucid dreaming vacation, when you go deeper within the astral planes.

I know I am trying this next time I'm in a lucid, and I encourage other to do so as well, because this could very well be a benchmark in being able to drastically manipulate time in LD's. Anything is possible in lucid dreams, so why shouldn't making the experience longer be possible? Then again, it could be too good to be true.

Anyone have any relatable experiences to share?
