A RC Color Technique Idea

I was on the bus this morning going to school, and I thought of the idea that every time I see a certain color I would do a reality check, whether it would be a car, house, or anything else. Then i would do it during school and at home and eventually everywhere. Hopefully it would then carry on to my dreams. I chose red, but I unexpectedly found out that there were a ton of red cars in my city, which I never noticed before (I was doing ADA a bit too so I think my awareness has already increased) so I probably need to switch colors. I stopped when I got to school.

I was wondering if anyone has thought of that idea before (doing a RC every time you see a certain color) and if you think this technique could work. I will start attempting to LD soon so I want to be as prepared as possible for when I do. Any feedback is much appreciated

Well, training yourself to RC whenever you notice something unusual is the best. Since colors (for most people) are everywhere, and we take colors for granted so much, even if you train yourself to RC when you see a certain color, it may not be too effective. What do I know though ;D, give it a try!

Pick an object with unusual color. That may work because it is never seen it that color lol

Interesting idea, just don't forget that the important thing about reality check is awareness, not action.

Also you can analyze dreams from your dream journal and figure out which color you see most often in dreams, that could be a dream sign.

Cool idea, I have read about it a few times before in some other threads. But it was the opposite since the OP mentioned always seeing a certain color in dreams (i think it was blue). His dreams were usually in hues of blue to whenever he notices the color blue irl, he'd RC. Of course he didn't mean looking for the colors, which is pretty common, rather, he'd RC when he'd actually notice it particularly, or remember it being related to his dreams. That way he wouldn't go around RCing like crazy x)
