      i looooove this

      Hey guys.

How are you? With me is CRAZY. After about 2 months of playing wih LD, I am starting to really love it. I am better every time. 2-4 MILDS in a week, controlling is awesome, now I can do almost anything I want right away. I was having hard time do things in the beggining, but now I learned to control things, by convincing myself it is actually me that is dreaming, so I can do whatewer I want. I invented machine, that takes me anywhere I want... It is so funny, two months ago I couldnt leave the room in my lucidity, couldnt tunr the lights on etc, now when I realise I am dreaming in 10 seconds I am where ever I want to be doing whatever I want. My LD lastst long, up to 20 minutes...
I still have some issues and problems though. I always start slipping away slowely, because I forget to really focus. And I CANT visualise people and their faces, it frustrates me... I say: I want to be in my friends house now, he will be there and we will play cards. I go in my place taking machine, enter the code and baaam I am at my friends house. He is there and the cards are waiting for us to play, but his face is the face of someone else.. How to work on that one please?

And yes... The monsters started to visit me in lucid dreams.. I am fighing them, telling myself it is juts a dream, so far it goes, but in the future.. hm

Thanks for any tips. SOrry for english

well, obviously you don't know his face very well or someone is very similar to him lol.
Try looking at his face more often, try to remeber the face, and then see the picture and compare them.

      Lol, what I just wrote...

I would recommend calling out to him in a place that he is normally at. Expect him to be there. It is really just a matter or expectation, you can also use a cell to call him and tell him to meet you there.

Dream control is something that just needs to make sense to you. Nice to hear about your looong LDs. it is difficult for lots to get to a point that they don't worry about the time of a dream.

Monsters can be a problem, I like fighting, so I would love for monsters to surprise me. just expect them not to be there if you want them gone, if you really believe it can't harm you, then you don't have to fight back.

Neo: What are you trying to tell me? That I can dodge bullets?
Morpheus: No, Neo. I'm trying to tell you that when you're ready, you won't have to

I invented machine, that takes me anywhere I want...
Tell us more about it I enjoyed reading that you're having loads of fun and success with lding, posts like yours really encourage other members ^^
Regarding your problems with faces, try thinking about the identity of the dream character before looking at him. And when you do, you can even take your time to focus the image (hope this makes sense). For example, when I want to change my clothes in a lucid dream, I just look at my body like it was a blurr of colors and try to "clear" the image until the clothes I want form. Good luck!

Yes, yes. Do tell. I feel like dream inventions created by a dreamer are stronger than any technique, since they are personal to you. Like Hukif's clockwork.

      Hey, nitika,

that's an awesome post. Can you teach me? lol, happy for your success.

20 min is very decent. Have you tried reminding yourself that you are dreaming when you feel dream starts to fade?

About faces - only thing that I can think of is to greet your friend by his name. Like say "oh, hi [friend's name].

And about monsters - if you don't want to fight them, I would say to them something like "I know you are good and I love you all. Don't worry, I won't hurt you." Then watch what happens.

      Congrats on the progress!
That's some good advices here so far, though to add, that when you want to see your friend in lucid, maybe you could also try recalling the feelings that you get when being with friend.

As Gab said, an interesting way to deal with your monsters is to just talk to them. In your dream, just turn round and say, "Hey, wait a minute! This is my dream, how dare you come in here and try and kill me?! Give me a good reason why you're here, and I will let you go. Otherwise, you will disappear out of existence!"

It'll create some interesting scenarios, and no doubt they'll say some interesting things to you.

Or you could develop new ways of fighting. Control the elements, use mind control, create a master-sword, trap their souls in a crystal and use their energy to give you superhuman strength... The list goes on and on!

You've made great progress so far. Keep it up!

It's nice to know that you're having such a fun time lucid dreaming. I especially love that you have created a machine that will take you anywhere! Like some of the others here, I'd love to know more about it. Perhaps I'll tweak the idea in one of my dreams--and if I do, then I thank you for the inspiration in advance!

When it comes to visualizing your friends, then follow the advice that others have already recommended to you. You should probably know, though, that this will most likely get better in time!

On the subject of your slipping: I recommend that throughout the dream you rub your hands together (make sure to pay attention to the feeling of the friction) and remind yourself, several times, that you are dreaming. Perhaps you can ask one of the dream characters around to assist you every so often, and have them remind you that you are in a dream. But do be careful. I have never tried doing that (though I will in the future), and I know that sometimes dream characters can be mean mean mean.
