your refrigerator in lucid dreams

why are refrigerators in dreams always filled with things that you never have in your real life refrigerator. it never looks like my actual fridge.. I always find interesting's things to eat and drink in refrigerators. one thing I noticed is I usually see 5 to 10 packs of the same thing in em. one time I saw almost a whole drawer filled with packs of fruity pebbles snacks and another where I saw 6 carts of orange juice in the back of my fringe.

If you want to get certain specific from your fridge, a good way to do it is to close the door and open it while thinking about what you wish to grab. If it doesn't work, try again, and eventually you'll get the desired result.

As to why it happens, it's hard to explain every aspect of the dream content. We know that it seems to be influenced by expectations, memories and emotions, but how this things play work specifically to each element of the dream...no clue ^^
