Hi guys! I'm back once again, it's been awhile since I was active on the site and active in lucid dreaming. With work and things I just was swamped. I'm glad to be back, but I have some questions. I go all gung-ho for lucid dreaming for about a month it seems, and then I lose my drive for it. I always want a lucid dream, but when I get many lucid dreams, paradoxically my drive goes down. Because it seems easy. And so I start to not have any lucid dreams, and I get frustrated. How can I keep myself motivated? I'm stumped

I think the best way to stay motivated is to push yourself in the lucid dream. Set yourself some goals and try not to just mindlessly do a bunch of random things in your LDs. Try to build skills by pushing your abilities and creation. That is what I try to do anyway. I still lose motivation here and there, but it tends to help me stay fairly motivated.

To get more motivation and inspiration for lucid dreaming you can set more goals for yourself, read people's DJs, read/watch something inspiring and/or lucid dreaming related, think about lucid dreaming and your goals, daydream about them, and so on, there are many things that can help with motivation.
