Hey everyone, I'am Trying2Remember or you can call me Blaze(my real name.)
I've recently became very interested in Lucid Dreaming, and I'am hoping that the DreamViews community can help me achieve my goal. First, let me tell you why.
When I was a kid, maybe 9-13? maybe even 14. I'am 16 now. I used to have a lot of dreams, not bad ones. All kids really. Well now that I've been reading about all this stuff. I think when I was young I had the ability to lucid dream, but I had no idea. I can specifically remember in my dreams that I use to pinch myself a lot to tell if I was in a dream. It became a habit I guess because I was having maybe 2-3 dreams a week.
Now I don't have really any dreams. Maybe ONCE IN A BLUE MOON. I miss that weird feeling when going into a deep sleep. that "tingly" something is happening feelings. I've read a lot on this site recently ( 1 1/2 hours) at least a day. I'am trying FILD( Finger Induced Lucid Dream) and I have also started a dream journal. Only problem is a the dream journal. Not much in it because I'am not remembering the dream I guess. I just want to be able to Lucid dream again like I believe I could as a child. If anyone can teach me, introduce me a a greater technique, or hell, email me and we can talk. Maybe someone else has experienced this and has recently overcome it.
P.S. I went to sleep last night at around 2 a.m. I had to wake up at 7:30 to go somewhere. when I got there I was super tired and laid down on their couch. I was purposely trying to dream. So I just relaxed and I feel asleep. I woke up maybe 45 minutes to an hour later. I was sleepy, and again feel asleep. This is where I had a short, but tingly dream. A "scene" took place. I saw a close up version of a digital clock saying 12:30, and fell out of the scene , coming back to it with a split second of that dream feeling. this time I heard someone say my name. No one was home in real life so.
Again, Thanks to everyone who takes the time to read this and is willing to help me<3 - Blaze
