CANWILD works best with WBTB ( i sleep for 3,5 hours and stay awake for 2,5 h ). Then i set my timer ( timers4me ) to ring every 15 min for 2 seconds. |

For the past few days I've been trying a combination of FILD and CANWILD with no success. When the CANWILD alarm wakes me up in the middle of night, I don't move when I hear my alarm, but I always find myself in some ridiculous position that's not comfortable and can't help me focus; i guess i move around in my sleep alot. I want to roll over and get on my back to begin the transition process, but you're not supposed to move at all during this technique. What do I do? Should I tough out my bad position and not move, or is it ok to roll over? |

Check your memory, did any suprising event happpen ? does the present make sense ? visualize what you will do when lucid, and how. Reality check as reminder of your intention to lucid dream tonight. Sleep as good as you can; when going to sleep, relax and invite whatever comes with curiosity. Grab your dream journal immediately as you awake and write everything you can recall (if only when you wake up for good). Keep calm, positive and persistent, and don't forget to have fun along the way
Thanks that's helpful. I'll try waking back to bed sometime (although 2.5 hours is a bit long for me). I lke that elbow trick too. |

Technically speaking 2,5 hours is not a typical WBTB, itīs byphasic sleep. It has the advantage of REM rebound and i think itīs superior to typical WBTB. |
