So I had a dream last night where I was with both my brothers and I did a reality check in the dream. I looked at my hands and counted my fingers and they asked me what I was doing and I told them I was performing a reality check to see if I was dreaming or not and they started to laugh. I don't remember exactly how my hands looked but I don't think they were in any way weird because this did not induce a lucid dream. Has this ever happened to any of you? Is there an explanation why it didn't induce it? Also I've been at lucid dreaming for about a month and a half now and have had two lucid dreams both of which I don't remember how go induced.
