What LD technique should I use ?

I have had 2 Lucid Dreams so far (started a week ago). The first one was a sexual one, and it was a DILD that came naturally due to the fact that I was constantly thinking about having lucid sex, so when a normal sex dream occured, I became lucid. The second one was a simple DILD, that came with WBTB. Last night I tried to MILD, but it didn't work . I have a very good memory and dream recall (my Dream Journal helps as well), but I SUCK at keeping my mind focused -it's way too absent -, which is a key in MILDing. What technique would you suggest to a LD newbie, like me ? Tonight I will try writing down a mantra MANY times before I sleep. Personal experiences are welcome

      Thank you

You should read some tutorials here on this site. You can choose then from some reality checks and such techniques. There is no way that anybody will recommend you a technique exactly for you. You have to keep trying and find a good one for you. Everyone is different.

Continue to figure out what works and what doesn't. WBTB and DILD works, MILD doesn't. Have you tried DEILD yet?

Once you know what works and what doesn't, focus only on what works for you to consistently improve.

The mantra-write down didn't work. I'm gonna try again WBTB tonight, though I really don't get what's the difference with WILD. I have read many tutorials, and DEILD sounds impossible. Everytime I do a reality check questioning myself if I'm dreaming, my mind answers ''Of course you're not, stupid'', and I feel nothing. How do you guys do reality checks ?

If you are getting success with DILD then continue to do that, because 2 within a week of starting is absolutely brilliant.

To do Reality Checks, allow yourself to wonder, truly wonder and ponder on the fact that it is completely possible you are dreaming. Of course it's possible you're dreaming, because you may just not be noticing impossible things, so there's every chance that you are. Raise your awareness of yourself and your surroundings and question where you are, where you've been and where you're going. See if all that's normal, and if it is, continue to carry out a Reality Check. If it isn't normal, look around you for more weird things that may be going on then carry out your Reality Check movement.

The whole point of reality checks is to raise your awareness so that you can become lucid
