You should really forget about the SP and read this link, that I already posted in your previous question about SP. |

In compared to wild.Is it as scary or is does the sleep paralysis last a little while.Because I really don't want to be freaked out by the whole experience and because I really let my imagination get the best of me.And also I want ask why does our brain give us such an evil experience on sleep parlysis.Again what should I do after waking up and being relaxed. And happened in your deild experiences did you ever feel you were suffocating. |

No, I have never experienced the feeling of suffocation in either WILD or DEILD. Incidentally, I have experienced real sleep paralysis and even then I didn't feel suffocation. |

A DEILD is a form of WILD, but it is a very condensed version. Things happen so quickly, you won't really be laying there "hallucinating" and thinking everything is scary. Like I said, a DEILD usually goes by pretty fast and before you know it you're in a lucid dream. Try to let go of your fear of SP, it's just your mind |

flowers shall grow
and I am in them
and that is eternity.
-Edvard Munch
In my experiences, DEILDs are very quick and relatively painless when compared to the struggle and discomfort that can come with WILDing from wakefulness. In fact, in all of the DEILDs I've had, I've barely become conscious, and they usually happen by accident. When I was making conscious efforts to WILD every night before sleep (though it's rare, it's good practice and relaxing), doing reality checks throughout the day, and generally having lucid dreaming on my mind, I entered DEILDs almost automatically. I start remembering things right before the transition, when I know if I just relax, it'll happen very quickly. So in DEILDs, you don't have time to anticipate anything or to bring anything frightening on yourself. You can try to make the suffocating feeling go away by forgetting it ever happened; often, thinking about some scary phenomenon only causes it to reoccur. (When I first WILDed, I felt vibrations, a huge roaring, and entered right into a nightmare! But I forgot about the scary noise, and I haven't heard it since.) |

We were always dreaming of how it was going to be.
Longest chain of DEILDs: [5] WILD[X] DILD[X] DEILD[X] OBE[X] Fly[X] Bend elements[] Task of the Month/Year[] Hang out with real-life people[X] Summon a random DC[] Talk to a DC consciously[X] Find my dream guide[] Have complete control[] Realize that there is no spoon[]
And this because I love it:
Just go into sleep paralysis knowing that you are vastly more powerful than anything that might show up. If things creep up on you in an OBE or lucid dream, just scare them away, and it'll improve your confidence. Another thing you can do is to just treat the hallucinations as if they are simply lost and try to befriend them. I was once spooked by a faceless woman but I eventually managed to just say "hey what's up" like she's nothing to worry about, and she no longer scares me. |

A DEILD or WILD is only as scary as you expect it to be. So stop thinking that anything about it needs to be scary, because it doesn't. If you hear frightening auditory hallucinations during a WILD, just tell yourself it's dance music...and it will turn into dance music. If you think you are hearing alien voices, then you will start seeing aliens. Get it? It is what you make it! You are in control. You do not need to be afraid of anything. There is nothing in your room that is going to harm you, as long as you understand this, you can turn any scary experience during hypnagogia into something humorous. Ever seen Prisoner of Azkaban (3rd Harry Potter movie)? Where they use humor to transform the thing they fear most into something funny. It's the same principle, and it's actually a well known eastern teaching to use humor to conquer your fears. Sleep paralysis (which can sometimes be experienced in between LDs such as during a DEILD) can be especially frightening because not only can you be having visual and auditory hallucinations, but you are also completely paralyzed, and your natural "intruder" animal instincts tell you to be afraid. But again, if you remain calm and turn any potentially frightening thoughts into funny ones, you'll be fine until you are able to move again. Humor works. So does sex. There have been many occasions I've transformed scary Incubus-like encounters during SP into entertaining sexual encounters. The demons usually can't keep it up anyways. Total mood killer. |

I wish I could have more incubus sex when I'm in SP. :p |

WILD isn't really scary. DEILD is actually the same and much faster (and also much easier if you are lucky). Remember that you will experience scary stuff only if you think you will. |

DILD: 123 ; WILD: 10 ; DEILD: 9
The only advice I can give is, be brave. |
