Genetic predisposition is only part of it. I read that while it is much less frequent, but people who do not have a history of schizophrenia may develop schizophrenia as well. However, I am not an expert, and I don't believe anyone on this forum has a license to practice psychiatry over the Internet, therefore I would suggest you seek out a doctor in person, who can figure out whether you have a mental disorder or not.
