Sometimes, trying too hard and putting pressure on yourself can hamper your ability to lucid dream. I suggest trying to taking a break from trying to lucid dream. Try thinking about nothing at all when falling asleep and relax as deeply as possible. What you're doing is going back to your old ways and to a routine that you know works for you from years of experience.
