Stopped having lucids. Need some tips.

I learned to lucid dream pretty easily. I used to have 3-6 lucid dreams a week until 29.11.2013 my lucid dream tenchiques stopped working. I posted my tenchique by just falling asleep with strong itention i got lucid dreams. This was very realible technique for me but now i havent had lucid dream in 10 days. Is this normal suddenly stop having lucid dreams? My dream recall also got worse without no reason even if i keep dream journal. My sleep schedule havent changed at all just wondering what could cause this?

Its normal to suddenly stop having lucid dreams for a few days. I've experienced this many times. I'm experiencing it right now! The worst thing you can do is stress and panic about it. That only destroys your recall.

What gets me back on track is I'll forget about trying to lucid dream altogether, only focus on recall, enjoy my non-lucid dreams, and simply wait until my next lucid dream, never forcing it and keeping faith that my awareness is good enough that I'll have one soon. This removes all of the pressure and stress I put on myself which is affecting my lucid dreaming.

It often happens. It probably happens to everyone. Take a week and just work on recall, then focus on a method you have not used lately, and work on awareness. Most of all, don't worry.

Thanks for reply. I can know take it easy and just focus on my dreams. I had to know if i did something to screw up my lucid dreams but i guess its normal to have dry seasons.

A few things work for me. When keeping a DJ, make sure to write EVERYTHING. Even those fragments that, some mornings when you wake up, go "nah, it's not worth the effort". Write it all, friend.

Another tip I gained from here in DV is possibly the most useful tip ever. Get in the habit of doing some subtle reality checks even in the waking state. When you get used to doing that, you'll get used to doing them in dreams, and therefore will have more chances of LDs! (just don't do an exaggerated check in public that make you look nuts ;D)

Be sure to post back your results! Good luck, friend!
Do not try and bend the spoon--that's impossible. Instead only try and realize the truth...there is no spoon. Then you will see that it is not the spoon that bends

If you have had 3 to 6 lucids in the past you have nothing to worry about. And I guess that would be my advice, just don't worry about it. If we try too hard we can block ourselves from lucid dreaming. Good luck!

Thanks everyone! Just broke my dry season although it was the worst lucid dream i had at least i knew it was a dream. I now know i just have to do what i do and not waste too much effort on trying too much to have one.

Good job one breaking the dry session! I was having one until last night as well! What helps me the most is reading these forums! Thinking about lucid dreaming all the time is a really good way to break the spell!
